1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ray Guardian ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Who May Use This App

2.1 Age and Authority Requirements

You must be 18 years of age or older to create a parent account
You must be the legal parent or guardian of the child whose device you enroll
You must have legal authority over the minor child's device

2.2 Prohibited Use

You must not use Ray Guardian to:

Monitor any person who is 18 years of age or older
Monitor a minor child without being their legal parent or guardian
Spy on, stalk, or harass any individual
Use as a stalkerware tool against any person

Violation of this section may constitute a criminal offence under applicable anti-stalking, surveillance, and privacy laws. We reserve the right to terminate accounts engaged in such activity and to report abuse to law enforcement.

3. The Service

Ray Guardian provides parental control features including:

App blocking and screen time management
GPS location tracking
Adult content filtering
Remote device lock
Security alerts for tamper attempts

We strive for reliability but do not guarantee that all features will function perfectly on all Android devices. Manufacturer customisations, battery optimisation settings, and Android version differences may affect performance.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account
You must use a valid email address that you have access to

5. Child's Age Limit

Once the monitored child reaches 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must uninstall Ray Guardian from their device. Monitoring an adult without their consent is illegal in most jurisdictions.

6. Subscription and Payments (if applicable)

Premium features may be offered in the future
Any future subscriptions will be subject to applicable billing terms

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, and features of Ray Guardian are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
All adult content will be detected and blocked
Location tracking will be accurate at all times
The App will prevent all attempts to bypass restrictions

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or device damage
Any harm arising from failure of the App to detect or block content
Any actions taken by a child that the App failed to prevent

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms, particularly the lawful use provisions
Engage in abusive or illegal monitoring
Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App

You may delete your account at any time from the Parent Dashboard.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belagavi, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
